What a brand ambassador does

A brand ambassador represents a brand in person for a few hours: at an event, in a store, on the street or on a campus. Your job is to start short, friendly conversations, explain the product simply, hand out samples or materials, and leave people with one clear next step.

Who you work for

On a shift you represent the brand, but you are booked and supported by the agency that staffs the event. The agency briefs you, answers questions on the day, and is who you report to.

What a good shift looks like

You arrive early, look the part, know the two or three things the brand wants people to remember, and keep conversations moving. You stay in the assigned area, you are kind to everyone including people who say no, and you report back honestly afterward.

Common types of work

Product sampling in stores or on the street, street teams handing out flyers or QR cards, event and trade show booths, festival and sports activations, and campus pushes. The core skills are the same: approach, explain, hand off, move on.

What brands remember
